The U.S. Commercial Service, in collaboration with the NEW Women’s Business Center in Canoga Park, California, is excited to introduce the Building Bridges to Global Markets program to the San Fernando Valley. This initiative aims to empower women-led start-ups, small to medium enterprises, and seasoned entrepreneurs by enhancing their ability to expand sales through foreign markets. The event is set to be a remarkable opportunity for women entrepreneurs to gain valuable insights and connect with key resources to drive their global business success.

The highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Diane Farrell, the Deputy Under-Secretary of the International Trade Administration, who will share her expertise and insights into the global market landscape. Attendees will benefit from a rich resource-networking experience and a two-panel program organized by the NEW Women’s Business Center and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Companies like EazyHold, Superhumn, and Kili Medical Drain will illustrate the success of women-led enterprises in global trade, providing inspirational case studies for participants.

Participants will engage with global trade experts and resource partners, including the SBA, OWIT, DEC, GO Biz-STEP, CalOSBA, US Eximbank, Lendistry, 22Fund, and SBDC, among others. The program will cover essential topics such as trade finance, access to capital, logistics, legal considerations, and exporting best practices. Moreover, attendees will learn how to connect with international buyers virtually and stay networked with other women-led exporters. This event is a unique opportunity to harness the power of global trade and elevate women-led businesses to new heights.
