12 Days of Christmas #6 – Niecy’s Delight, Unique Poundcakes

Denise has a passion for high-quality ingredients and a strong sense of family, love, and tradition. She wanted to find a way to honor those values and found the perfect way by pouring all that love into her baking goods.

In her own words, she told us her idea: “I’m starting a Cottage Food business. My specialty is a very unique pound cake, which I prepared from a family recipe that has been in the family for more than 100 years and I received from my grandmother. I have also developed a new line of products based in the same way the pound cake is baked and infusing them with new flavors.”

She works with natural ingredients, never concentrated flavors, and she is proud to sell her freshly baked goods. As a new businesswoman, she completed all her training on the cottage food industry at our NEW-WBC and worked with our team preparing her business plan to apply to the CA Dream Fund Grant for start-up businesses, which was granted a week ago. As the proud owner of Niecy’s Delight, Denise is currently preparing her next step in her plan to grow her business and offer her delicious pound cakes to more people.
