Her journey began with a passion for creativity and athleticism, but it evolved into a mission to empower others, especially young women, to step behind the scenes and claim their place in the industry. Driven by the lack of recognition for women in action, La Faye founded Stuntwoman Xtraordinaire, a business dedicated to uplifting and honoring female stunt performers. She also established Diamond in the RAW, a nonprofit that introduces teen girls to career opportunities behind the camera, proving that success in entertainment isn’t limited to being in the spotlight. Her work extends even further with the Action Icon Stuntwomen’s Conference and Awards, a groundbreaking event celebrating fearless women in stunts, and a forthcoming documentary highlighting the challenges and triumphs of Black stuntwomen in Hollywood. The NEW Women’s Business Center has played a crucial role in La Faye’s entrepreneurial success since becoming a client in 2024. Through our expert guidance, marketing support, and exclusive opportunities, the WBC has provided the tools to scale her business and amplify her impact.
